Savills to Relocate to Princes Dock Office Space

Commercial Property Firm Savills will relocate their Liverpool office space to Peel Land & PropertyΓÇÖs Princes Dock development, joining the likes of Coutts Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG at the waterside scheme.

Having agreed a deal for just less than 2,500 sq. ft. of office space, the move by Savills will see their 20-strong team relocate to Princes Dock from their existing offices on Water Street which is only a short distance from LiverpoolΓÇÖs James Street Station.

Speaking to the Liverpool Post, PeelΓÇÖs Property Manager Liza Marco explained:

ΓÇ£We are delighted Savills has chosen to establish a permanent base for their Liverpool office in Princes Dock. Princes Dock is in an enviable location with excellent services on offer to occupiers.ΓÇ¥

Covering 14.5 hectares, Princes Dock is located next to the iconic Liver Building and on the fringe of the proposed Liverpool Waters scheme – a £5.5 billion redevelopment of the Liverpool waterfront. The Grade A office space available at the Dock also offers occupiers easy access to cafes, bars and restaurants.

During the opening months of 2011 both the demand and up-take of serviced office space across the L postcode increased*, with data from revealing that enquiry levels rose by 34% and that the number of businesses entering serviced office space via the service were double that of 2010.

In addition to assisting a greater volume of clients make the move into service office space, has also recorded an increase in the average workstation requirements of these newly placed businesses, rising from an average of 3.3 workstations per client in the opening two months of 2010 to 6.2 workstations per client in the same period of 2011.
