Record Award Nominations for Abbey Business Centres’ Staff
After four weeks of voting, a record number of 680 nominations have been collected from clients of Abbey Business Centres’ 13 locations throughout the UK.
The nominations, which were submitted as part of Abbey’s annual ‘Best of the Best’ awards, celebrates centre staff and back office employees who go above and beyond the call of duty.
This year 93% of Abbey’s staff received at least one nomination, with their Manchester office taking the majority by scooping 3 of the 6 awards available. The spoils went to Lynne Garlick – Best Centre Manager (pictured top), Karen Bray – Best Assistant Centre Manager (pictured bottom), and Natasha McLoughlin – Best Customer Service Co-Ordinator.
In other locations, Lee Stoddard from the Edinburgh office won Best Business Development Manager, Kathy Malaney from the Glasgow office received Best Newcomer, and finally Operations Manager Sharon Wild won the award for ‘The Best of the Rest’, which is open to all staff from other teams such as IT, HR, marketing and finance.
Lynne Garlick, winner of ‘Best Centre Manager’, commented: “I’m thrilled to have received my own award but I’m even more proud of my team who go out of their way each day to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.”

All winners were presented with a certificate and bottle of champagne by a member of Abbey’s management team.
