Royal Wedding… The Big Day finally arrived for Prince William and Kate Middleton, bringing with it plenty of discussion and controversy. Despite the bestowal of a UK bank holiday, remained steadfastly open on Friday 29th April at the request of company MD Jim Venables, who believes that the wedding could – and should – have taken place on a Saturday to prevent the country from falling further into economic instability.

An unexpected visit… On a lighter note, while the door at HQ is always open, a little lost dog by the name of Woody took this in its most literal form by turning up at the office early one Wednesday morning. The cheeky chap had managed to escape from his nearby home and had taken himself on a little adventure, before winding up at the office wondering what to do next. He spent the morning with the Marketing team on the first floor before he was reunited with his owner, but following two hearty meals and plenty of fuss, we fully expect to see him again fairly soon!
