Office Space West Midlands -Businesses Know What They Want in April
Those businesses entering office space in the West Midlands during April appeared to know exactly what they were after, with the amount of space taken equalling that of what was initially enquired about according to monthly figures from officebroker.com.
Throughout April the average number of workstations (desks) enquired about by businesses seeking office space in the West MidlandΓÇÖs sat at 5.7. Traditionally this figure, which represents what people ΓÇ£believeΓÇ¥ they need, falls substantially by the time a deal is completed ΓÇô altering once our consultants have assessed a clientΓÇÖs actual requirements and once they have seen the workspace in question and a firmer reality of their requirements is presented.
Firms in the West Midlands however broke this trend by completing deals for an average of exactly 5.7 workstations ΓÇô the same as the initial enquiry.
While fluctuations occurred within specific postcodes of the region, the West Midlands remained the only UK region to see initial enquiry levels match those of completed placements ΓÇô with the remaining 11 regions showing an average drop-off of 31% on the number of workstations enquired about compared to the final number taken.
