OB Managers Become Bond for Avanta Charity Night

OB Managers Become Bond for Avanta Charity Night

Serviced office provider Avanta recently held a fundraising event for the charities Sparks and Action Medical Research, which both support the health of vulnerable children.

The event, organised by AvantaΓÇÖs James Harrap, was a Bond-themed Casino Royale night held at the exclusive venue, Vanilla London.

Attending the event, along with a number of our partners and colleagues in the commercial property industry, were our sharply dressed Head of UK Sales, Chris Meredith, and Client Services Director, Stephen Preston.

To raise funds, guests were invited to purchase casino-style money and play blackjack and roulette, served with canapés and champagne by attending Bond girls. Stephen lost his money on the tables but managed to score a raffle prize of Next vouchers, while Chris turned his £200 of chips into thousands!

The pair then went on to attend the auction, in which they outbid their competitors to win a track day at Silverstone – donating £550 to Sparks and Action Medical Research in the process.

ΓÇ£This was the second event of this kind weΓÇÖve attended with Avanta and it was a great night had by all,ΓÇ¥ says Chris Meredith. ΓÇ£James and the Avanta team really put on a fantastic show and we enjoyed every minute.

ΓÇ£Sparks and Action Medical Research are two charities that we are always willing to support. On behalf of, it was our pleasure to bid on the Silverstone race day knowing that we were able to support such a worthy cause in the process.ΓÇ¥

To decide who gets to enjoy the day at Silverstone in Northamptonshire on October 2nd, Chris is giving our Account Managers until the end of the month to prove who deserves a free day off and a wild ride around the Formula 1 track.
