New Appointment for Hersham Technology Park

New Appointment for Hersham Technology Park

A business and technology park in Hersham, near Walton on Thames, has appointed a new Sales Assistant following an increase in enquiries for flexible office space in the area.

With four years’ experience in the commercial property sector, Shadia Hazleden (pictured) is already familiar with the industry and has worked with many large blue-chip developers and commercial agents in the past.

“The set up here is very impressive,” said Shadia, commenting that the on-site facilities at the Park are “second to none” and it offers an alternative for businesses looking to move from London, due to its excellent transport links, proximity to the M25 and affordable price tag.

“In the past two months alone we have let over 4,000 sq ft and are in serious negotiations for another 5,500 sq ft,” she added. “The Park is an exciting, dynamic business hub and I am thrilled to be part of it.”

Having been operated by Fasset since 1997, the 170,000 sq ft establishment is managed by a 21-strong team that oversees all aspects of the Park, including customer-facing teams that provide assistance for their occupiers. Current tenants include Hydro Aluminium Holdings (UK), Space Kitchens, QuickLogic, Attwood Burton and many more.

Mitch Avis, Fasset’s Account Manager at Hersham Place, said:

“Shadia’s background made her a perfect choice for this role and already she has welcomed two new companies relocating to the area. As the economic climate in 2011 unfolds I am confident that the competitive flexibility offered by business parks such as Hersham will ensure they are a real consideration for companies as they move forward.”

The latest clients to join the Park are infrastructure specialist SECON and BOLERO International Limited – a leading provider of multi-bank finance solutions for corporates and their banks – who are taking almost 4,000 sq ft of space between them.

The Park provides a campus-style environment where businesses can share centralised facilities, such as the restaurant, shop and gym, and have access to key services such as broadband internet, a staffed reception and furnished office space.
