i2 Office’s New Glasgow Centre Passes Halfway Occupancy Point

i2 Office, a serviced office provider with four centres located in Marylebone, The City, Milton Keynes and most recently Glasgow, has reported that the newest addition to their property portfolio has reached an impressive occupancy level of 59% since its launch earlier this year.

Based at the prestigious Grade A office complex on West Regent Street in the heart of Glasgow, the business centre offers fully furnished offices in a modern workplace setting, designed to provide a supportive environment for small and medium sized businesses.

The first company to take space with i2 Office in Glasgow was leading online financial service firm Interactive Investor, who occupy the majority of space on the first floor. They were soon joined by hospitality recruiter, whose Manager David Shirra commented that a reliable network was crucial for their business.

“As an online recruitment business the reliability of the technology is paramount for our day to day operations,” David commented. “We also host a range of business events in our own meeting room and the high quality of the support services that our clients receive whilst attending an event is often commented upon and provides an excellent adjunct to our core services.”

Other companies that have taken space at i2 Office in Glasgow include Rock The Boat Consulting Ltd and TDE Solutions Ltd.

Fiona Lawrence, General Manager (Sales) for i2 Office, is pleased to see the on-going development and rising occupancy level at the business centre.

“Once a client sees the quality of the accommodation available and understands our willingness to really listen to them and then provide what they need, they are keen to move in and do what they do best i.e. run their businesses, in surroundings that can only enhance a company’s operations.”

Before opening their new centre on West Regent Street, i2 Office took advantage of’s Insight report service to investigate supply and demand in the area.

Speaking at the time, CEO Philip Grace commented that the information was “invaluable” and assisted the team in their decision making process, which led to their agreement to sign up for nearly 16,000 sq ft of space at the Grade A office complex.

“The insight report on the Glasgow area gave us invaluable information when deciding on the location of a new centre in the city,” Philip commented. “The quality of the building was immediately apparent to us and we really didn’t look any further. We are delighted to be the first tenants.”

One of the key objectives of i2 Office, who are headquartered in Milton Keynes, is to offer flexible cost-effective space arrangements for SMEs with top of the range IT and communication networks, which is made possible through their partnerships with leading IT and telecoms suppliers.
