i2 Office Plans Expansion in 2011
Office space provider i2 Office have announced they will continue to expand during 2011, with support services provider OCS and the financial services company Hampden Group opting to invest in the hi-tech serviced office space provider.
Having already opened serviced offices in Milton Keynes and Glasgow during 2010, the investment secured by i2 will allow additional centres to open-up around the UK, as i2 CEO and founder Phillip Grace explains:
ΓÇ£Attracting major investment at a time of economic austerity bears testament to the strength of our product as well as showing confidence in our plans for the future. We are delighted to welcome on board OCS and the other investors and look forward to opening new centres in several prime locations across the UK in 2011ΓÇ¥
The relationship between i2 Office and OCS first began in 2009, when OCS won the contract to supply a range of services including vending, waste management, confidential waste destruction and document management to i2.
Martin Gammon, Managing Director of OCS Group UK Ltd, welcomed the development of the relationship with i2 Office saying,
ΓÇ£Total FM (facility management) should be more than just outsourcing: it should be a partnership between client and FM provider. True added value only really begins to show when this is achieved.ΓÇ¥
The announcement of this new partnership follows the successful opening of i2ΓÇÖs Headquarters in Milton Keynes and its first Central London office space in Marylebone ΓÇô an office location which achieved 90% occupancy within 90 days of opening during the summer of 2010.
