Honduras Victory Holds Key to World Cup Progression for

After a dramatic come-back in their opening group game of the World Cup – which saw the mighty FC / Cameroon snatch a 8 – 6 victory over England – the squad will today line-up for a crunch match with Honduras.

The Central American team will no doubt be out to prove a point after losing their opening game against Portugal 6 ΓÇô 8, but with qualification almost certain for OBFC if victory can be achieved, the squads mind is focused to the point of achieving Nirvana as tenacious wing-back Andrew ΓÇ£RyanΓÇ¥ Quigs eloquently explained at the pre-game press conference: ΓÇ£winning good ΓÇô losing badΓÇ¥

With qualification tantalisingly close the team have come under increased media scrutiny, so much so that press officer Jo Disney will be in attendance to take questions on behalf of the players as well as record the event on a cutting edge piece of technology called a Camera.

It is believed that the starting line-up will be changed around from the opening game against England as Vice Captain Cristiano DiΓÇÖMappio explains:

ΓÇ£We had a sit down after the first match and decided we needed to keep thing fresh and after about 5 minutes me and the captain agreed that the best thing for the team was for one of us to step down. We flipped a coin and the Captain lost ΓÇô frankly it was for the best because he was rubbish in the first game and frankly I was greatΓÇ¥

OBFC vs Honduras will kick-off at 19.15 local time and large crowds are expected at the Powerleague Stadium in Yardley with the local Police advising fans to arrive in plenty of time.

The tournament, which will take place at Yardley Powerleague has been organised by the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and will also help to raise money for the Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer charity as they seek to buy equipment for use at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham
