Grade II property in LiverpoolΓÇÖs Baltic Quarter ΓÇÿidealΓÇÖ for serviced office space
Property agents Drivers Jonas Deloitte are to handle the office lease process of a Grade II building in Liverpool, based in the city’s Baltic Quarter.
They have also reportedly claimed that the property could provide an ideal location for serviced office providers.
The historic Novas Scarman Centre has been fully refurbished and offers around 25,000 sq ft of space. The site also offers a theatre, cinema, art galleries, a restaurant and a bar.
Separately, Drivers Jonas Deloitte will also handle the letting of office space at Liverpool’s Observatory building, located close to Lime Street station. The property is based at One Old Haymarket and incorporates 5,000 sq ft of office space.
Commenting on the conventional lease market in Liverpool, Adam Robson from Drivers Jonas Deloitte, said:
“Liverpool’s office market has continued to hold up well throughout the recession, with some significant deals last year such as the UK Border AgencyΓÇÖs move to The Capital as well as a pre-let at Mann Island to the Mersey Passenger Transport Authority proving its resilience.”
He said that demand for space is coming from businesses that have weathered the recession and are looking to expand. He also believes that demand is being driven by “those from outside the area that want to take advantage of competitive rental values in a vibrant and growing city.”
