Former Police Offices to be Sold
The recently vacated offices of Staffordshire Police in Baswich are to be put to market by Jones Lang LaSalle following the relocation of officers and staff to office space at the police forces new headquarters close to Stafford town centre.
The ΓÇÿCrossfieldsΓÇÖ building, which dates back to 1881 will provide around 5,573 sq. ft. of commercial office space and occupies a site of just over 1.5 acres. Located 5 miles south of Stafford, the offices provide easy access to both the county townΓÇÖs facilities and nearby M6 motorway.
Speaking to thebusinessdesk.com Jonathan Fear, director of the office agency in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Birmingham office, said: “Currently used as offices, the building presents an ideal opportunity for refurbishment or redevelopment for a wide range of property uses.”
With the former staff of the ΓÇÿCrossfieldsΓÇÖ building already occupying offices at the new headquarters next to the Staffordshire University campus, they will have to wait until April of next year before the officers and staff based at the current HQ on Cannock Road join them, with the fate of this additional building still unclear.
