Early Demand for Basepoint’s Newest Centre in Camberley

Basepoint Business Centres, which operates 28 locations throughout the Midlands and the South of England, has seen high demand for its latest addition in Camberley which has just been officially opened following a full refurbishment.

The centre is located just outside the town centre in a modern building, offering serviced space across a variety of office suites with support from an on-site team.

The first tenants are already moving in, including ticketing and promotions company Ticketscript Ltd, which has a number of offices across Europe. Commenting on their new office in Camberley, Paul Curren from Ticketscript, said:

“We chose to move in to the centre because the modern office environment offers great value in an excellent location, close to the M3 and the M25. The staff at the centre have been very helpful and have ensured that the move was as smooth as possible.”

Prior to its official opening the centre hosted a ‘Biz Open Week’ to support the local business community, allowing local small businesses the opportunity to exhibit in the centre free of charge. Guest speakers were also on hand to give advice on key business topics.

Karen Williams, Centre Manager at the new Camberley location, commented:

“There is a very strong business community in Camberley and the M3 corridor, but nevertheless, I was delighted to receive so much interest from local businesses before the centre even officially opened.

“The Enterprise M3 Local Economic Partnership recently predicted that 70% of businesses in the area are expected to expand over the coming years, and we are pleased to be offering a service which will help to facilitate that growth.”

A new free monthly networking event, ‘The Networking Hub’, has been launched at the centre which Karen believes will be beneficial to the local business community.

“Networking is a great way for local business people to forge relationships and in turn, grow their businesses,” she said. “I think that licensees as well as businesses in the wider area will benefit from the opportunities that our events will help to create.”

As part of its continuing campaign to support SMEs and to play its part in ‘Start Up Britain’, Basepoint is also offering three months use of its virtual office service for free to new or existing clients at selected locations.
