Deloitte Takes 150 Workstations at Orega’s High Holborn Centre
Business consultancy firm Deloitte has signed up for serviced office space at High Holborn business centre, one of Orega’s newest office locations, for a total of 150 workstations.
Deloitte have taken two floors of the business centre, totalling 9,000 sq ft, with the first 50 people moving in during the January, and more employees set to join their colleagues in February.
Located within London’s midtown district, the centre is just 5-minutes’ walk from Deloitte’s other offices between New Fetter Lane and Shoe Lane, which provides the perfect base for the company’s project-based work.
Deloitte have agreed to an 18-month licence with break clauses at six and twelve months.
Commenting on the deal, Zach Douglas, joint managing director of Orega, said:
“We were able to deliver customised project space to Deloitte within a short period of time to their exacting requirements. The location of our business centre, just a short walk from Deloitte’s main offices, was an added bonus, as was the high-quality spec of our building.”
Zach said that the deal, which was signed shortly before Christmas, was one of the biggest in the serviced office sector in 2010.
“For us, it ended the year on a high note and demonstrated that our strategy and timing in relation to our first central London business centre were spot-on,” he said. “It also highlights the enduring appeal of well-located, flexible offices to the corporate sector. Many major firms have a property strategy in place that includes an increase in serviced offices as part of their rationalisation process.”
The glass-fronted building has recently been re-fitted and has proved to be a popular choice for businesses seeking serviced space in the area. This latest deal with Deloitte takes the business centre over the 80% occupancy mark, just three months after its official launch.
