Basepoint Dartford Brings Pets to Work for Charity
Serviced office building, The Base, run by Basepoint in Dartford recently held a charity ΓÇÿBring Your Dog to Work DayΓÇÖ for customers in a bid to raise money for the EllenorLions Hospice.
Resident clients brought in a wide range of dogs for the event, from little Stanley the Jack Russell to big Pluto the Great Dane.
A competition was held to assess the best in each category, including ΓÇÿWaggiest TailΓÇÖ, ΓÇÿPrettiest PupΓÇÖ and ΓÇÿBest TrickΓÇÖ.
The dog judged the one most wanted to take home at the end of the day was Penny the Lurcher, whose lucky owner received a £20 voucher from the local Pets at Home outlet.
ΓÇ£Apparently bringing your dog to work can reduce stress, so we thought weΓÇÖd invite our licensees to bring their dogΓÇÖs to work and take part in our ΓÇÿScruffsΓÇÖ competition ΓÇô a tongue-in-cheek version of Crufts,ΓÇ¥ explains Centre Manager, Allison Sweeney.
ΓÇ£The day was a fantastic success and we were delighted to present EllenorLions Hospice with a cheque with the money weΓÇÖve raised over the past year. It was also lovely to meet BasepointΓÇÖs canine companions!ΓÇ¥
