Admiral Confirm New Head Office in Cardiff
Motor insurance group Admiral have unveiled plans for a new head office in Cardiff, with the 11-storey office building planned for the former David Street car park at the heart of the City Centre.
While still subject to planning permission the office development has been given a completion date of 2014, generating the potential for an additional 1,300 staff which Admiral consider to be a clear sign of the insurance firms commitment to Cardiff.
As part of the process, which ultimately saw MidlandΓÇÖs developer Stoford chosen to deliver the project, the 1,700 staff already employed by Admiral in Cardiff were consulted to help identify what they would like to see included in the new office space.
Speaking to Walesonline, Mr Llewellyn, head of facilities for the Admiral Group explained said: ΓÇ£The Stoford development offers not only an excellent building and great location but also an attractive financial deal.

The new skyscraper will provide 220,000 sq. ft. of office accommodation designed to BREEAM excellent standards and feature chill out areas and other facilities designed to underpin the companyΓÇÖs ethos of encouraging employees to have fun while at work.
