10th Anniversary for Serviced Office Company Evans Easyspace

10th Anniversary for Serviced Office Company Evans Easyspace

August 31st marked a special occasion for storage and serviced office provider Evans Easyspace, as the company celebrated its 10th anniversary since the acquisition of their very first business centre.

Ten years on, the centre – which is located on Monckton Industrial Estate in Wakefield – continues to attract plenty of interest from clients looking for flexible office space in the area.

Over 170 businesses have been clients since 2000, and the centre is currently home to 29 businesses and 186 employees, covering a range of sectors including recruitment, double glazing and an online lottery provider.

Christine Mirfin, who has been the Centre Manager since day one, says that her role is all about customer service.

“Many of the current clients are now personal friends and it’s great to have such a strong rapport,” she says. “I love the job and in particular working with such a wide variety of different clients – from charities to stage set manufacturers – and it is as challenging as it is rewarding.”

Alex Taylor, Managing Director of recruitment firm Taylor Hughes – who has been located at the centre for ten years, said that Christine knows their business “inside out” and “always provides a first class service.”

“It’s been a great ten years and the location suits us perfectly. We see a lot of candidates so free parking is a huge bonus for us,” he added. “Here’s to the next 10 years!”

A special 10th anniversary celebration lunch will be taking place at the business centre for clients on September 15th.

There are currently 50 serviced office properties managed by Evans Easyspace listed on the website. Aside from the company’s very first centre in Wakefield, other properties occupy locations as far and wide as Edinburgh, Cardiff and Bath.

One of the company’s most recent additions to their UK portfolio is a Grade A office property in Sheffield, which is currently undergoing a full refurbishment and is due to open later this year.

Tom Stiles,’s Account Manager for the region, commented that the new property makes a “great addition” to the Sheffield market, adding: “Anyone looking for modern, well-presented space in the city centre will no doubt find that this centre fits the bill.”
