UK online office broker officebroker.com has revealed that it has purchased Virtuozzo server visualisation technology from SWsoft

This is to maximise the efficiency of its IT server space and boost its disaster recovery programme.

According to SWsoft, the Virtuozzo software enables several virtual servers to run on one physical box, increasing the productivity of the hardware so officebroker.com can save space, IT management and operational costs and resources.

officebroker.com confirmed its IT infrastructure is being updated constantly

in order to support and sustain growth and maximise its business potential. It claimed by using Virtuozzo to consolidate its servers, it has been able to free up one of its IT servers, which the company is now using to back up the system in line with its disaster recovery programme, making the business more resilient.

The company said it is intending to introduce Virtuozzo in its office In Dallas, Texas, USA, supporting its overseas operations.
