Who Will be officebroker.com’s Business Centre of the Year in 2010?

Who Will be officebroker.com’s Business Centre of the Year in 2010?

Earlier this week we announced our final Business Centre of the Month award-winner for December, icon Business Centres’ Thorpe Park near Leeds, which became the 8th centre to win the award since its launch in April 2010.

Throughout the year we have had the pleasure of receiving entries from many dozens of business centres right across the UK, all of which have put forward their centre complete with supporting case studies and stories of how they have gone that extra mile for their clients.

Each month, led by officebroker.com founder and MD Jim Venables, and with the help of our team of account managers, we have selected a winner for each Business Centre of the Month award from April through to December.

Needless to say we have been spoilt for choice – not to mention variety – and it has never been an easy decision.

But before we wind up for the Christmas period and prepare to leave 2010 behind us, one question still remains:

Who will be awarded officebroker.com’s Business Centre of the Year in 2010?

Since the announcement of our final Business Centre of the Month winner this year, we have been going through all the winners throughout 2010 and taking time to size up their offering. Although a decision on the overall winner is yet to be confirmed, one thing is clear: every single winner from April right through to December is undeniably a superb barometer for the industry, and has shown outstanding contribution to the serviced office sector, not to mention an excellent and professional offering for their clients.

From the very start, the award has always been about centres that can offer a supportive environment for their clients to thrive and grow. In the words of Jim Venables, the award singles out those centres and their teams that can demonstrate “excellence from the top down”.

“Serviced offices are, after all, home to thousands of business of all shapes and sizes,” he said, “including many start-ups and SMEs. Those that generate and maintain a positive environment in which these businesses can flourish should be recognised and praised – this is exactly what our award does.”

The overall award for Business Centre of the Year 2010 will go to one of the eight Business Centre of the Month winners from 2010. From this impressive group of business centres, Jim Venables has the unenviable task of selecting an overall winner, which will be announced in January 2010.

Until then, we will leave you with information about each of our monthly winners in 2010…

Merry Christmas and best wishes to all for a healthy and prosperous 2011!
