Towcester Business Park Welcomes another New Client
A 25-acre science and technology park near Towcester in Northamptonshire has welcomed its 16th client, a lift installation specialist, as occupancy levels continue to reach new heights.
Managed by serviced office space provider Fasset, the park – which officially launched last year – recently welcomed LTR Elevators from their former office in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
Managing Director Alan Dunkley commented that part of the reason for moving was because he wanted to be “closer to home”, adding: “A site visit confirmed our view that this campus-style business hub was the ideal location to take the company further. You can’t beat being in the company of like-minded entrepreneurs because the energy rubs off on everyone.”
The technology park has 170,000 sq ft of mixed-used space, incorporating manufacturing, laboratory and office space, and is now home to 16 companies employing nearly 220 people between them. Fasset’s long-term plan for the park is to double the number of people on-site and increase this figure to 500.
“There is a real sense of pride and passion here now, with a record 16 firms on site playing a role as a driver of regional economic regeneration,” commented Fasset’s Sales Executive, Victoria Powell. “The skill sets of the different businesses are simply astounding – something the county should be celebrating.”
Located within the Grade II listed Caswell House and the former stables, which have been converted into high-spec office space, clients have access to a modern working environment with a range of key amenities and services including meeting rooms, a staffed reception, secure on-site parking, broadband access and a café.
