Three in a Row for Gosport Centre

Three in a Row for Gosport Centre

As reported recently on the officebroker.com blog, a Gosport-based business centre was gunning for three different awards in the South East – and they have successfully walked away with all three to complete their hat-trick.

Starting with the ‘Gosport in Bloom’ award which the centre won in October, the centre has since achieved two other awards within the month of November – including ‘Best Business’ at the Portsmouth News’ We Can Do It Community Awards, and the ‘Economic Growth’ gong at the Gosport Business Celebration Event.

The latter recognised the centre’s success and commitment to the Gosport economy, while the ‘Best Business’ award by the Portsmouth News is attributed to the centre’s community work within the local area, and is voted for by the newspaper’s readers. The centre was recognised for raising ┬ú30,000 over the last three years for Fareham-based charity The Rainbow Centre, along with their sponsorship of the Gosport Falcons under 11’s football team.

Commenting on the hat-trick, Centre Manager Andrew Weston said that he is “overjoyed” to win the awards, especially given the shortlist of “other such worthy winners and high profile business organisations”.

He added: “It’s a great feeling to be an award winner and to be recognized for all the hard work we do for charity and Gosport itself.”

Assistant Manager Kerry Loughrey said: “It makes all the fundraising events even more worthwhile, and we will continue to support our local community.”

The centre is located in Gosport and offers a wide range of flexible office space ranging in size from one person upwards, ideally suited to SMEs and start-up businesses. Find out more online at officebroker.com.
