The property, which houses serviced office space available through officebroker.com (click HERE to view the property), provides office space and workspace to 17 local businesses and will be auctioned alongside 18 other properties in London on 13th July. Comprising of five separate Grade II listed buildings, Dalton Mills is set around a courtyard and was originally built in the late 1860ΓÇÖs. It was then used in the filming of the BBCΓÇÖs North and South drama series based on Elisabeth GaskellΓÇÖs love story written in the 1850ΓÇÖs.
In a press release released on their website, Simon Bailey, King Sturge Auctioneer comments: ΓÇ£As well as being an iconic historical building, Dalton Mills is an investment opportunity for property entrepreneurs. It provides a good income, it is exempt of empty rates and the space can be adapted to many uses; it could even be converted to residential dwellings.ΓÇ¥
