Serviced Offices in BirminghamΓÇÖs Creative Quarter
Office provider, The Custard Factory, has recently extended its offering to include fully serviced office space at The Greenhouse, The Zellig and The Custard Factory in the creative heart of Digbeth, Birmingham.
The provider takes its name from the up-and-coming new district in which it is based, home to a thriving new quarter famed for refashioning BritainΓÇÖs second city into a successful centre for the creative arts.
Once the original BirdΓÇÖs Custard factory, restoration of this historic area of Birmingham began in the 1990s and has since inspired a cultural renaissance, attracting a range of retro diners, vintage shops and live music venues such as the Medicine Bar.
The area is also attracting entrepreneurs as well as creative and digital businesses, such as the Microsoft-owned games company, Rare:
ΓÇ£We selected this location after a UK-wide search because it is centrally located in BirminghamΓÇÖs new digital district, Digbeth, and it is a hub purely for the creative,ΓÇ¥ said Rare Developer and ex-Studio Head, Mark Betteridge in 2011.
ΓÇ£We will be surrounded by businesses that will make an appealing working environment and a pool of local talent which we can tap into when we need to contract staff.ΓÇ¥
Rare sits side-by-side with the likes of Punch Records, Fused Magazine and the Tindal Street Press. The Press Association also finds its home in the district, along with a number of charities including the Terrence Higgins Trust and the PrinceΓÇÖs Trust.
A range of serviced office space in Digbeth is currently available for rent, both in the heart of the Custard Factory and in the surrounding area.
