Rugby legends and TV presenter Gabby Logan attend Avanta fundraiser
Serviced office provider Avanta is supporting a charity fundraising evening in aid of children’s medical research charity Sparks, with special guests from the world of rugby including Kenny Logan, Peter Scrivener and Damien Cronin.
Award-winning TV presenter Gabby Logan and leading rugby commentator John Taylor will also be in attendance.
The fundraising event, on Thursday 15th April, will include a dinner and live auction in aid of the charity and will be held at Vanilla in LondonΓÇÖs Great Tichfield Street.
The evening, sponsored by Avanta, will include a three-course meal followed by a Q&A session with the celebrities. Guests are then invited to bid on a range of excellent items up for sale in a special auction.
Managing Director of Avanta, David Alberto, said:
“This is the 5th year that we have supported Spark’s charity sporting events, and despite the tough global economic climate I believe that the research charity, whose sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine, well deserves all the support that we can provide.”
Paul Connew, Sparks Director of Communications, said that charity and corporate partnerships like that between Avanta and Sparks is vital, as many UK medical research projects for children depend on charities like Sparks and not Government funding.
He added: “Without such partnerships, much of that important lifesaving, life-enhancing research simply wouldn’t kick off and that would be tragic. The money raised at the rugby dinner will help Sparks-funded doctors and researchers give more children the chance of a healthy, winning future.”
Tickets are £50 per person. Contact Sam Gale at Sparks on 020 7340 0699 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
