Online office space broker officebroker.com is celebrating after its UK Sales Manager Dan Murphy brokered a ┬ú3m deal for Regus – the UKΓÇÖs leading supplier of outsourced workplaces.
The ┬ú3m contract, which has been named the single biggest transaction secured by Regus in the UK across the whole of its brokerage channel in the second half of 2006 was recognised in an awards ceremony held in London last week.
Dan, who works at officebroker.comΓÇÖs Staffordshire office, picked up the award for the contract between Regus and a communications business that took just under 10,000 square feet of space at one of RegusΓÇÖ business centres in Bracknell.
officebroker.com was also named ΓÇÿBrokerage of the Year 2006ΓÇÖ at the recent Regus awards ceremony, reflecting the companyΓÇÖs phenomenal growth since launching five years ago.
The company, founded by Birmingham born entrepreneurs Jim Venables and Andy Haywood now employs over 30 people in the UK and turnover has doubled year on year with projected group sales of ┬ú3.5m by the end of this financial year.

According to Andrew Coombs, UK Sales Director at Regus, officebroker.com was given the award for generating the most enquiries leading to the highest number of deals and subsequently helping Regus to secure significant contract revenues throughout the second half of 2006.
