Netzen Solutions’ new office in Bath

Managed by Director Rob Phelps, Netzen Solutions – who also provide IT support in Bristol along with Bath and other areas in the South West – started their search for new office space in early July.

With increasing demand from SMEs for the company’s professional IT services, which includes consultations and tailored solutions for a wide range of requirements, Netzen Solutions needed a new office from which to base their expanding team.

In the aftermath of the recession, small and medium-sized businesses – which continue to struggle against reduced bank lending in an unstable economy – are forced to find ways to cut costs whilst maintaining efficiency and improving productivity. Many SMEs have discovered that this can be partly achieved through enhancing or upgrading their IT systems.

As a result, Netzen Solutions have experienced a period of expansion as they work with growing numbers of small and medium businesses. Having submitted an enquiry on Thursday 8th July via the officebroker.com website, Rob was contacted by Account Manager Paul Rowe within the hour. Among Rob’s list of workplace requirements that Paul had to consider was location – a key factor as the company’s client base covers a wide ranging area including Bath, Bristol, Swindon, and London.

Therefore the ideal office would provide a location that could be easily reached by staff and clients alike, with convenient road and rail links, and close to the city’s central business district. The property should also provide suitable cabling and internet access, meeting rooms, and 24-hour access.

“Paul gave me details of offices that would best suit my business and my budget,” commented Rob, among which was a Grade II Listed townhouse property in central Bath, in the city’s attractive North Parade area.

The centre ticked all the necessary boxes, and having toured the office the very next day, Rob was confident that the office would suit the requirements of Netzen Solutions. “After a visit to the recommended office, we found it to be perfect and soon made an offer,” he said.

It took just a few days for Rob to finalise his decision, and he signed for the office less than a week from the initial enquiry date. The team now plan to move into their new location on 1st August.

“I would like to say a massive thank you to Paul for taking the stress out of moving offices!” he added.
