Office Inspiration: Paddy Power Bets on Bold, Branded Workspace

Paddy Power don’t do understated. Thankfully for us, their London office is no exception. For starters, it’s got a six-foot bright green horse …

Yes, itΓÇÖs a horse. A bright green horse, no less, jumping through the reception desk and into the boardroom. YouΓÇÖve got to hand it to Paddy Power ΓÇô they know how to provoke a reaction.

Interiors specialists ThirdWay worked with Paddy Power to create their first London HQ, combining a bold colour scheme with some quirky features to make a powerful, branded statement.

Faux topiary and reception desks made from unexpected materials are two of the standout trends weΓÇÖve seen so far in our Office Inspiration series. But why choose just one? Paddy Power hedge their bets (couldnΓÇÖt resist!) with their topiary reception desk which is also another nifty little reference to horse racing.

As youΓÇÖd expect, sport is a strong influence throughout the offices, and there is even a state-of-the-art AV suite where sports fans can go to keep up to date with the latest news and scores.

One thing’s for sure, wherever you go in these offices, there’s no chance of forgetting where you are. These brightly coloured booths offer an alternative to the open-plan workspace for informal meetings… Will you choose orange or green?

Even the kitchen area has had the branded treatment, with some super-shiny yellow tiles and the greenest kitchen units weΓÇÖve ever seen.

Gracing one wall is a giant graphic of their controversial Lucky Pants motif, while oversized pool balls suspended from the ceiling act as lighting.

Incidentally, if the Paddy Power team can tear their eyes away from the colourful kitchen space, there are also some fantastic views of Euston to be seen from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Are these the brightest, boldest offices in London? Place your bets now…

So far weΓÇÖve seen gnomes, horses and disco balls ΓÇô what will be next in our Office Inspiration series? We canΓÇÖt wait to find out.
