New Office Provides Perfect Mix for Potion PR
Potion PR: Managing Director Sue Rizzello sought officebroker.com’s help.
In June, Sue Rizzello – Managing Director of UK-based public relations agency Potion PR, approached officebroker.com for help with her search for new offices in the Thames Valley region.
Having previously used serviced offices, Sue knew exactly what style of office she required for her expanding team and the type of workplace environment that would match her business culture. But finding the right mix proved to be an unwelcome challenge – and one that was taking up valuable time out of Sue’s busy schedule.
“Having assumed as an experienced web researcher that I would easily source our office options myself, I found myself incredibly frustrated,” she said. After a fruitless search, she said that she eventually clicked on the officebroker.com search result – which she had been “ignoring each time” since her search began – and admitted that this was her “last port of call”.
Following a detailed discussion with officebroker.com Account Manager Andrew Bilson, who handles requirements for office space in the Thames Valley, this proved to be the turning point in Sue’s frustrated search. By handing over the task to Andrew, Sue was able to save time and get back to running her business while Andrew used his experience and knowledge of the market to find the right type of office for Potion PR.
“Andy listened as much to what we did not need and want (a big faceless serviced office provider) as to what we did (something more personal, unique and affordable) – and within a short space of time we had a very short list of suitable options,” she said.
The new home of Potion PR.
As a client-facing company that works with a wide range of companies, from local small businesses to large global corporations, hitting the right balance was essential. While location was a key factor, it was just as important that their new office would present the right image – providing professionalism and a modern environment without being ‘faceless’ or overly corporate.
In addition, as a growing company it was vital that the space would allow room for expansion within the Potion PR team.
Of the options that Andrew presented to Sue after he had consulted the most suitable offices in the area, one location in particular ticked all the right boxes. Based in Uxbridge in a prominent position just off the M25, the building is independently operated and has a professional on-site management team that handle everything from meeting and greeting visitors, to answering company calls and providing IT support.
Following a tour of the building and a discussion with the Centre Manager, this turned out to be the ideal location for Potion PR. The team are now due to move into their new office later this month.
Commenting on Andrew’s help, Sue added: “He stayed in close touch throughout the negotiations and we’re delighted to be on the point of moving into our new offices soon.”
