New business park for North West region
A brand new £3m business park and office space complex has been given initial planning permission to be built near Garstang, just off the M6 between junctions 32 and 33. The site is sandwiched between Preston and Lancaster, with the town of Blackpool to the east.
The site was once a chicken factory that has been left in ruins for some time, and is now set for a new lease of life.
Speaking to North West trade and industry reporters TheBusinessDesk, Harry Coar from Cobre Developments – the company behind the new office project – said:
“There is nothing like this in the Garstang area and we believe the time is right for a rural business park that will help boost the local economy and create jobs.” He added: “We are creating modern, stylish offices and work units tailored towards the needs of small, rural-based businesses.”
