MediaCityUK Gains Made in Manchester as New Tenant
Made in Manchester, a media content producer formerly located in Manchester city centre, has moved to the Pie Factory ΓÇô part of the acclaimed MediaCityUK development on Salford Quays’ historic waterfront.
Set up in 2005 by broadcaster and journalist Ashley Byrne and world swimming champion James Hickman, Made in Manchester is a media company and “ideas factory” involved with all elements of production, from marketing and PR through to radio, television and new media.

Made in Manchester, who recently won their first ever commission for BBC Radio 3 with ‘The First English Opera’, will now join 25 other businesses located in the Pie Factory including Hive, Web Potential, Toasted Productions, Gallowglass and Purple Crew.
MediaCityUK is set to become home to 15,000 media professionals upon completion.
