Marks & Spencer move staff to Spinningfields offices in Manchester

Marks & Spencer are moving 200 back office staff to a new location in Spinningfields, central Manchester, on a 15-year lease. The company are signing for 21,000sq ft of office space at 3 Hardman Street, and will be located on the 8th floor.

The staff will be relocated from their current base in Salford Quays later this year.

According to TheBusinessDesk, Gary Critchley, head of business services and Information at M&S, said:

“We are excited to confirm our business service centre will be moving to 3 Hardman Street. The building’s innovative design, city centre location and excellent transport links are key to us offering our employees an attractive environment in which to work.”

Michael Ingall, chief executive of Spinningfields’ developer Allied London, added:

“This building is the best office building outside of London and is a great asset for Manchester.”

This latest deal now means that the property on Hardman Street is 93% let.
