Magnus Launch Online Networking Community for Clients
Serviced office provider Magnus Limited, which operates a number of office properties across the North West including Manchester, Macclesfield and Congleton, has launched a free online community for clients.
X-Change provides a platform for clients to interact and do business together, and was launched after the Magnus management team noticed that many of their clients were actively approaching other businesses in the same building to enquire about products or services.
“We launched X-Change after we noticed that more and more customers were doing business with each other,” said Sales & Office Support Manager Laura Kavanagh.
She added: “Not only is X-Change a way for Magnus customers to do business together, but it also has a notice board area for news, an offers page, a list of recommended suppliers and key building information such as Health & Safety. It’s also protected by a log-in system which keeps it secure.”
X-Change is split into three main categories: ‘In-teract’ – for clients to advertise their services and promote special officers; ‘In-form’ – for important information relating to the office building, and ‘In-touch’ – providing additional information such as useful links, fundraising initiatives and access to a list of recommended suppliers.
The recent website development marks a number of other advances for clients which are taking place on a wider scale.
In Congleton, Magnus is currently undertaking a refurbishment and upgrade project at their Riverside Mill property (pictured), to accommodate an existing client’s expansion plans. The office space has been fully redecorated and work is due to begin on renovating the floor covering and upgrading the air-conditioning system.
In Manchester, Magnus’ Grade A office property on Peter Street is undergoing works to the ground floor to install full height glazing and new doors, which will improve the natural light in the office and also provide views out onto Windmill Street and Great Northern Square.
Finally, another project nearing completion is that of Grosvenor House. Following high enquiry levels for office space in Altrincham, Magnus have recently refurbished the ground floor of the property with brand new fittings, with the intention of attracting SMEs to the space. A wide variety of space is now available to rent ranging from single or two-person offices, up to 50 workstations.
