Macclesfield property to be converted into serviced offices
A property developer in Macclesfield has appointed an office design and fit-out firm, Preferred Office Environments, to convert its building into serviced office space.
According to TheBusinessDesk, developers Emsix are reportedly looking to refurbish the exterior of the property, and then to introduce a gym, glass folding walls and a dining area inside the building.
The office refurbishment company, based in Sale in Greater Manchester, was established in 1996 and offers a complete office relocation and refurbishment service.
According to Preferred Office Environments’ latest case studies, previous projects include a ┬ú1m fit-out project for Cheshire Peaks and Plains Housing Trust at their new office in Macclesfield, and another serviced office project based in Manchester. The latter involved a pilot scheme by Nikal Developments, which enables small businesses to buy office space within a fully serviced office building.
The refurbishment work for Nikal Developments was carried out in Altrincham’s Old Town Hall. The works included an entire interior fit-out of reception area, kitchen area, meeting room, outside lighting, and necessities including staircases and corridors.
