Lenta and Planet Positive announce Sustainability Initiative
Serviced Office Provider Lenta has announced a joint initiative with charity Planet Positive to help improve their sustainability.
Initially, focusing on their business centre in Southwark, the program will implement a variety of sustainability measures to help improve the buildingΓÇÖs ΓÇÿgreen factorΓÇÖ. These will include engaging with the different businesses based at the centre to improve energy consumption and reduce wastage, whilst also reviewing procurement and working with suppliers.
LentaΓÇÖs Managaging Director, Robert Levy told the Planet Positive website that ΓÇ£weΓÇÖve already taken steps towards improving sustainability in our portfolio by ensuring weΓÇÖre actively recycling, and installing motion sensor lighting in some of our buildings, but weΓÇÖre really excited to see what Planet Positive can help us to improve on. We understand the benefits of being more sustainable and are hoping all the businesses we house at The Foundry Business Centre will engage in this programme with us.ΓÇ¥
The eco benefits of being sustainable can also be cost effective, therefore taking control of your own social responsibilities should be seen as a beneficial step and not a chore.
Plant Positive is a non-profit organisation that focuses on promoting and educating both businesses and communities on ways to effectively reduce their carbon footprint.
