LateRooms.com Upgrade to New Office Space in Manchester
Online hotel finders LateRooms.com are due to move their head office in Manchester to a new, larger location to allow for future business expansion.
Up to 350 staff will transfer from the firm’s current Deva Centre offices to the new Peninsula Building near Cheetham Hill in October.
LateRooms.com, along with sister companies AsiaRooms.com and Hotels-London.co.uk, will take 36,000sq ft of office space across the top three floors of the property. The offices overlook the MEN Arena, the Printworks and URBIS.
“LateRooms has been one of Manchester’s success stories over the past 10 years, and we’re committed to keeping the business in the city where it all began,” said Chris Morris, B2C division managing director at TUI Travel, the company that own LateRooms.com.
Contractors TSK will start re-fitting the office space in August, and staff are due to start relocating in October.
LateRooms.com was bought by First Choice, now part of TUI Travel, for £120m in 2006.
