i2 Office’s Leeds Business Centre Opens with 22% Occupancy
A brand new business centre in Leeds, operated by high-tech serviced office provider i2 Office, has recorded an impressive 22% occupancy in its very first month of operation.
Situated close to the station on the edge of the city centre, the building is part of i2 Office’s portfolio of high grade business centres which are all based in key locations throughout the UK; accompanying the newly opened Leeds property are centres in Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Marylebone and the City of London.
Forming part of the 122,000 sq ft No.1 Leeds office development, the business centre features a wide range of fully serviced office space complete with flexible terms and top of the range facilities. Through its partnerships with leading IT and telecoms suppliers, i2 Office places an emphasis on technology and provides small to medium businesses with key amenities such as high speed internet connection and Wi-Fi along with on-site IT support.
Bobby Van Wyk, i2 Office’s General Manager for Leeds, commented:
“Our new centre is located in a superb Grade A building with a modern fit out and great facilities including a fully catered Costa branded caf├⌐. It is no surprise that businesses are already keen to take space at this building which has the highest spec of any new building in Leeds.
“We are delighted to have achieved 22% occupancy in less than four weeks of opening and look forward to welcoming more Leeds businesses to our centre, whether as occupiers, virtual office clients or for meeting rooms.”
Among the first clients to take space at the centre was renewable energy company Go Greena. Director Martin Cook commented that they chose the space for two main reasons: “Firstly, it allows us to expand our business without an up-front capital outlay on fixtures and furniture; and secondly we are perfectly located just eight minutes’ walk from the railway station with flexibility on parking if required.”
Alastair Maloney, Account Manager at officebroker.com for the Leeds area, visited the new building in July 2011. He described it as a “brand new sustainable building” which is a “fantastic alternative to the city centre,” due to the fact that it is close to the station and central amenities but far out enough to avoid traffic congestion.
He was also particularly impressed with the on-site caf├⌐ which makes all of its produce fresh on the premises – “even yoghurts!”
A video of the business centre has recently been commissioned by i2 Office via officebroker.com, and is now available to view on the property’s online profile.
Featuring all the key amenities of the building including meeting rooms, office suites, shared space, break-out areas and the on-site café, the video is a useful tool for prospective clients or interested parties that are interested in gaining more insight into the space before arranging a personal tour.
