Guinness Launch Award Scheme for Young Entrepreneurs
The Guinness Bring It To Life Awards aims to bring communities together.
The Guinness Bring It To Life Awards gives aspiring 25 – 35 year-olds the chance to share their urban regeneration idea and – for the successful few – the opportunity to see it through to completion with access to funding, training and volunteer support.
Working in association with UnLtd and Rathbone, the Awards aim to honour Arthur Guinness’ commitment to supporting local communities, by shining a light on ideas that will help make a difference to the applicants’ local community. The scheme is focused on the following areas: London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester.
The applicants must live or work in one of the areas specified, and must produce a new idea or one that takes a new angle on an existing initiative. It should also demonstrate the potential to bring people together, incorporate environmental aims, and aim to have a lasting legacy that benefits the local area.
Entries must be received by 23rd July 2010. The shortlist of applicants will be selected in August 2010 and the successful applicants will be announced by the end of September 2010.
