Green light for Grade A office development in Poole
Plans for a new development in central Poole, including 20,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and 25 serviced apartments, has been given the go-ahead by town planners. The outline planning consent has been given following 18 months of consultations.
The 2.5 acre marina site on West Quay Road in central Poole is also set to include traditional apartments, a hotel, spa, restaurants, a new quayside, and a number of business conference facilities.
According to TheBusinessDesk, Jonny Wrigley of development company Nikal, said:
“Poole is a solid and established market and we expect the town to recover quicker than most locations in the UK. It already boasts a myriad of local and international businesses, a booming tourist trade and its great links to London mean Poole is a hugely popular second home location.”
Work is expected to start on site by the end of 2010.
