Further Success and Expansion for Orega in Manchester

Following the news that Orega has completed the second phase of their Birmingham-based business centre and attracted five new clients to the space, the company has now announced their acquisition of a further 4,500 sq ft at their flagship Manchester location.

Based at Piccadilly Place in central Manchester, the business centre has seen a whirlwind of activity which led to three new deals and paved the way for a 4,500 sq ft extension.

Orega will shortly commence the fit-out of the second phase, located on the ground floor of the property, which is scheduled for completion in early 2012. The additional space will feature its own meeting and conference rooms and will complement the centre’s existing 12,000 sq ft of serviced offices on the 11th floor.

A flurry of deals has led to the arrival of three new businesses – Timothy James Consulting, Harris Interactive and Bytes Technology Group from the recruitment, market research and IT software industries – who have taken a total of 53 workstations.

Recruitment consultant Timothy James Consulting joins Orega in Manchester as an extension to their existing Bristol and London offices, following significant demand in the North West for appointments in the financial services, retail, e-commerce and public sector markets.

Global market research agency Harris Interactive is relocating to Piccadilly Place from Stockport in mid-December, adding to its existing offices in London and New York as well as France, Germany and Canada. IT software licensing firm, Bytes Software Services, will also relocate in December from Peter House in central Manchester.

In addition to the new arrivals, existing client Teaching Leaders, has also expanded with a further six workstations and a training room.

Commenting on the new deals, Helen Davies, Centre Manager at Orega in Manchester, said: “Activity at the business centre in the last few months has been tremendous, leading to the whole of the first phase now being filled and enabling us to start work on a second.

Located opposite Manchester Piccadilly train station, the property has a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ and offers a high standard of workspace, fit-out and facilities.
