Focus On: Serviced Office Space in Bahrain

Bahrain, an island country in the Persian Gulf in-between the peninsula of Qatar and the mainland country of Saudi Arabia, offers a number of prestigious serviced office centres that are available via the officebroker.com website.

Currently there are five properties available through officebroker.com, two of which are located in the Diplomatic Area of Bahrain’s Central Business District in capital city Manama, and three are based in the Financial Harbour of Manama.

Bahrain is widely held to have the fastest growing economy in the Arab world, and two years ago it was named the world’s fastest growing financial centre by the City of London’s Global Financial Centres Index.

Most known for the development and production of oil and pearls, and as the host of the F1 Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit, the country has built up a strong economy and a solid business reputation. It also has its own World Trade Center located within the capital’s financial district.

According to officebroker.com’s EMEA expert Rav Jisdhaul, clients seeking office space in Bahrain often want to get as close to this landmark building as possible, and many enquiries are from oil companies typically located in neighbouring countries.

“Many of our clients looking for office space in Bahrain are from large corporations, often associated with the oil industry,” she said.

“Most of the time we find that clients are already based in nearby locations such as Saudi Arabia, and they are looking for additional space in the capital’s business and financial districts, usually as close to the World Trade Centre as possible.”

It is expected that Bahrain’s economy will be further strengthened by the planned Qatar Bahrain Causeway, which will link the island with neighbouring Qatar. The causeway will become the longest fixed link in the world.
