DBH Acquire New Property as part of North East Expansion

Serviced office provider DBH Business Centres Ltd have expanded their North East presence with the acquisition of Chad House in Gateshead, near Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The new office property, which offers a fully serviced and flexible environment for businesses, is located just 100 yards away from DBH’s flagship centre on Sunderland Road in Gateshead, and offers larger space requirements for companies seeking offices of 2500sq ft up to 40,000 sq ft.

As an extension to their existing Gateshead building, which has received many favourable comments from clients via the officebroker.com online review system, the additional space is expected to attract larger companies looking for bigger space, or those who need space for expansion.

Samantha Elliott, Business Centre Manager at DBH Gateshead, commented that the team are “very keen” to generate interest in the new property and to welcome new tenants.

She added: “Over the past twelve months, we have worked very hard at Aidan House to almost double our occupancy from only 50% to 95%, and are looking forward to welcoming an even wider variety of businesses to our centre now we have the additional space.”

Commenting on the expansion, DBH Managing Director Piers Goodall said:

“For DBH it is great news that companies recognise the benefits of using our serviced office accommodation. Those benefits being the flexibility that DBH offer, the level of service we provide, the accessibility of the site as well as the high specification of the accommodation. These factors combined mean that both Aidan House and Chad House are an excellent solution for all organisations.”

DBH’s existing centre on Sunderland Road is just a few minutes’ walk from Gateshead town centre, and clients have posted positive feedback on their experience via the officebroker.com website. Ranging from comments such as “second to none” to “ticks all the right boxes”, the centre has certainly proved very popular with businesses, particularly with regard to the service offered.

“DBH give an excellent and professional service,” commented tenant Mark Graham from AVP, who wrote a review in October 2010. He added:

“The girls always go out of the way to contact me if people have been trying to call me and always drop me an email to let me know I have post to be collected. The front reception staff always greet me and my visitors in a warm and friendly manner. Overall this is a very well-run centre with an excellent team.”
