Clarendon Raises Over £1000 for Macmillan
Serviced office provider Clarendon Business Centres has raised over £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support while taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
After hosting a series of Macmillan Coffee Mornings in September, Clarendon Business Centres is pleased to announce that it has raised a total of £1,114 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The events took place across the UK, from Bournemouth to Oxford, supported by Clarendon business centre clients in their various locations.
ΓÇ£Our clients turned up in droves to support these events around the country,ΓÇ¥ says Oxfordshire Area Manager, Natasha Turner.
ΓÇ£They contributed to the charity by purchasing raffle tickets and donating to the charity boxes as they enjoyed socialising over a coffee.
ΓÇ£What really impresses me is the number of our clients who donated their time for free and made special cakes for the event – there was a fantastic choice of gateaux, flapjacks, cupcakes, Danish pastries, brownies, and chocolate treats in all shapes and sizes!ΓÇ¥
ΓÇ£IΓÇÖd like to say a huge thanks to all the staff and clients at the Clarendon Business Centres for taking the time out to support MacmillanΓÇÖs WorldΓÇÖs Biggest Coffee Morning,ΓÇ¥ says Cora Bauer, Assistant Communications and PR Officer at Macmillan Cancer Support.
ΓÇ£Everyone who baked, brewed and bought on the day has helped us to make this yearΓÇÖs coffee morning the best yet. The money raised will help the Macmillan team support people affected by cancer every step of the way.ΓÇ¥
