Business EnvironmentΓÇÖs Workplace Ethics recognised by Sunday Times
Serviced office provider Business Environment has been recognised for its employment and workplace ethics, which has seen it ranked 38th in the ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For‘ list.
The ranking takes into account a number of workplace factors, including pay, benefits and treatment of staff, and the award is determined following a survey of over 37,500 employees throughout the UK, from all areas of business.
The company was awarded a three star rating by the Sunday Times – the highest rating possible – for providing an ‘exceptional place to work’, and shares this with only 84 other UK companies in 2011.
BE also finished 8th for its commitment to employee wellbeing and its focus on providing a positive work-life balance.
Commenting on the award, David Saul, Managing Director of Business Environment, said:
“With such a strong line-up of UK businesses entering the awards, we were delighted to be ranked so highly. It is encouraging to know that employees really value the staff training and development we offer and the award is testament to our commitment to them in building a business culture that they are proud to be part of.”
BE – which is the only serviced office operator to appear in the Sunday Times’ list – is no stranger to recognition and has successfully appeared in the top 100 ranking of the same category throughout the last three years. The company has won Best Business Centre of the Year four years out of five at the Business Centre Association’s (BCA) annual awards, and was recognised for exceptional levels of service at the National Customer Service Awards 2010.
The year has certainly started well for BE, who have also recently announced the launch of their new business centre in London’s Cheapside, a prestigious building that – judging by the reviews that have already been posted via the officebroker.com website, is proving to be an instant hit with clients.
The company now operate 18 business centres throughout the UK, covering over one million sq ft of serviced space, which caters for a broad spectrum of companies ranging from small businesses and start-ups to established corporations.
