Business Environment appoints new HR Director

Serviced office provider Business Environment has appointed Nazia Ahmed as Director of Human Resources, who has been promoted from her former role within the company as Human Resources Manager.

Nazia joined the London office of Business Environment in 2009 and was initially brought on board to fulfil a temporary position, but was then appointed as HR Manager later in the year before becoming a Director.

Business Environment claims to have the lowest staff turnover in the service sector, and was recently recognised in The National Customer Service Awards 2010 by becoming a shortlist finalist. It also moved up to 23rd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to work for 2010, which the company attributes to its excellent team of people.

Business Environment’s Managing Director, David Saul, commented: “I am delighted to be announcing the appointment of our new Human Resources Director – Nazia Ahmed.

“Nazia joined us in 2009 and has developed a number of our team strategies that have supported our business during the difficult times of the last few years. Aside from gaining recognition for its investment in people, in 2010 Business Environment also won the Business Centre of the Year award from the Business Centre Association (BCA) for the fourth time in five years.

The company owns and operates up to 1,000,000 sq ft of commercial property across London and the South, including key Central London locations such as Bank, Fleet Street and Paddington, and other cities including Bristol, Milton Keynes and Reading.
