Birmingham Office Space Honoured at British Council for Offices Annual Awards

Eleven Brindleyplace has scooped a ΓÇ£Best of the BestΓÇ¥ accolade at the British Council for OfficesΓÇÖ (BCO) awards which took place yesterday (6th October 2010) in London, with its office space being praised as iconic, outstanding and innovative.

Located within the Brindleyplace development in Birmingham City Centre, the office building (pictured while still under construction) was awarded the ΓÇ£Best of the BestΓÇ¥ gong along with the title of Best Commercial Workplace and hailed as indicative of the high quality office projects emerging outside of Central London ΓÇô a statement reflected by the fact that five of the seven awards up for grabs were secured by projects outside of the capital.

John Forrester, Head of UK & Ireland at DTZ, and BCO Awards Chairman, commented: ΓÇ£Eleven Brindleyplace sets an impressive benchmark for new office development not only in the Midlands but nationally.ΓÇ¥

ΓÇ£It is undoubtedly a standout project and its success is down to the integrity of the design and strength of partnership between Argent, the developer and Glen Howells Architects, the designerΓÇ¥

The latest building to be added to the Brindleyplace scheme, Eleven Brindleyplace was completed in March 2009 and offers a range of Grade A Office Space ΓÇô it is also the neighbouring to one of the serviced offices advertised here on officebroker.com. (Click HERE to view the building).

Eleven Brindleyplace however was not the only conventional office building with a serviced office for neighbour to win big at the BCO awards, with the Broad Gate building in Leeds also picking-up the prize for Best Refurbished/Recycled Workspace. (Click HERE to view its serviced office neighbour)
