£25m City Centre Office Building Taken by City Council

A £25m office development located in Southampton’s Civic Centre has been purchased by Southampton City Council, when completed in the summer of 2010 it will provide over 72,000 sq ft of office space spread over 6 storeys that will be used by both the City Council and Capita Business Services.

Brought from Hodge Investments, the centrally located offices will allow the city council to remain in control of their office accommodation amidst strong UK and foreign investment interest in the city.

In addition to the security presented by investing in this city centre property, the city council will also be taking control of a valuable rental asset that is estimated to save them over 3.5m over the next 40 years.
