The latest report from officebroker.com's Serviced Office Review Q3 2010 series features the West Midlands region.

Highlights from the report include an increase in enquiries for serviced office space in the West Midlands, which have risen for the third consecutive quarter in 2010.

Fort Dunlop - a 1920s landmark industrial building in Birmingham, best known for being the former Dunlop tyre factory - has been presented with the 2010 Renaissance Award.

Earlier this month, Kitty Parry - Managing Director of public relations firm Templars PR - contacted officebroker.com as part of the company's search for a new office in Central London.

The latest report from officebroker.com's Serviced Office Review series, which analyses year-on-year data for the Q3 period of 2010, covers statistics for the Greater London region.

Figures show that interest in Greater London office space has increased by 20% in Q3 2010 compared to Q3 2009, represented by the level of enquiries from new clients.

The winner of officebroker.com's October Business Centre of the Month award is Leigh House - a contemporary business centre offering quality serviced offices on the outskirts of Leeds.

A serviced office property in Covent Garden is currently carrying out building works which will see the centre's office space expand by 4,800sq ft across three floors.

Last week it was announced that Land Securities' controversial 'Walkie Talkie' office tower in the City of London - so called because of its resemblance to the revered 1980's telecoms unit - is once again facing a development revival.

The deteriorated office space of Plymouth’s Civic Centre is to be sold by commercial property firm Knight Frank, providing an exciting location for future development and paving the way for the council to achieve significant savings.

Serviced office space provider Regus last week published their bi-annual Business Tracker, with over one-third of the 10,000 businesses interviewed stating that they intend to hire new staff in 2011. Should these intentions turn to reality then the office space requirements of these businesses will of course increase, a trend which is already being seen in research from the serviced office industry’s leading broker, officebroker.com.
