Serviced office provider expands space in Manchester

Bruntwood, a provider of flexible office space in the UK, has expanded its existing service office centre in Manchester by opening a new floor. This brings the company's total portfolio to 1,800 desks, spread across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.

The business centre is based in Deansgate, and now utilises two floors of serviced office space along with the use of ground floor meeting rooms.

Aside from the two floors leased by Bruntwood for flexible, short-term rental agreements, the building has a further nine floors which are currently let out on more conventional lease agreements that are typically long-term and less flexible than serviced space.

According to Place North West, Andrew Butterworth, sales director at Bruntwood, said that demand for their serviced office agreements "has always been strong."

He added: "Our fully integrated office buildings where our serviced and conventional office customers work side by side have proven very successful, particularly in the current climate. This is because we can offer customers the ability to take short term serviced office space and then move into longer term conventional offices within the same building."

The new floor will be available for serviced office clients from May, with viewings available from April.
