Three serviced office companies - Business Environment Group, Avanta and Instant Offices - have been voted into the Sunday Times top 100 'Best Small Companies to Work For' league table by their employees.
Serviced office provider Business Environment Group is 23rd in the table, 12 places up on last year's result, and also achieved the coveted three-star rating of 'Outstanding' which it shares with only 50 other companies in the UK. They came 8th overall in the 'Staff Wellbeing' category.
Avanta reached 74th position, with a high score for personal growth, while Instant Offices made 95th position.
Commenting on their achievement, Business Environment Group's finance director Simon Rusk said:
"In any service industry, how you look after your staff then flows into the service that you provide to clients. The receptionist who is happy and empowered will want to do her best for that client when they walk through the door in the morning," adding, "It's a real testament to how, as a team, we pull together and support each other."
Avanta's director of HR and training Jill Jackson said:
"Ensuring staff are happy, motivated and provided with promotion opportunities to achieve their career development ambitions is key to the ongoing success of any business."
The Sunday Times' 2010 'Best Companies to Work For' league, now in its 10th year, has been accumulated from entries by 964 companies across the UK, and a total of 230,000 employee comments.
