The average price per workstation in Birmingham dropped to £218.00 in the opening month of 2010, a figure which represents the lowest point in 11 months according to our statistics here at officebroker.com.

This decline in average workstation costs come despite a +18% rise in the number of individual businesses entering serviced office space during 2009.

But as Jim Venables, managing director of officebroker.com explains in a recent article, the return of corporate clients seeking project space with larger requirements could well mark a turning point. If these larger requirements do return to the market, having remained largely absent throughout 2009, supply levels will begin to deplete and push prices back up as prospective tenants come into competition with one another.
