officebroker.com’s Jim Venables attends BCA Midlands meeting

The Business Centre Association's (BCA) latest Midlands meeting took place this week, which was hosted at Orega's serviced office location at Colmore Plaza, central Birmingham.

officebroker.com MD and joint founder Jim Venables attended the event, which was introduced by BCA executive director Jennifer Brooke. The day followed an informative programme of speakers and panellists, and was attended by over 40 people from the business centre industry.

During the day, Jim took the opportunity to introduce officebroker.com's most recent development - a brand new series of regional reports that were launched last Friday, and have been released on the officebroker.com website over the course of this week.

The reports focus on the performance and trends of the serviced office market, drawing upon data collected by officebroker.com, and are designed to present a comparative analysis of national activity between 2008 and 2009.

Featuring a national review along with separate publications that have been broken down by region, the reports cover every area within the United Kingdom, and each one is structured - focusing on the following areas of interest:

• Supply and demand levels

• Size and shape of businesses

• Prices in the marketplace

• License lengths

The launch of these reports can greatly benefit business centre owners and members, who can now monitor their performance against the wider market. As a result they were well received by industry representatives at the BCA event.

Commenting on the reviews, Jim said:

"We believe that these reports will offer a valuable insight into the serviced office sector of the commercial property market, and will allow office providers the opportunity to compare regional performance against their own - an essential tool in a highly competitive market."
